B.C. avalanches: 1 dead, 2 missing in 24 hours
Searchers near Whistler, B.C., were combing the site of an avalanche on Thursday afternoon where as many as two people may be missing. The avalanche was one of two in the area on Thursday, officials said, following an avalanche on Wednesday that killed a skier.
