Journalists group decries detainment of Tamil newspaper editor
A journalist watchdog group is urging the Sri Lankan government to release a Tamil-language newspaper editor. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) says the detention of Nadesapillai Vidyatharan is an outright act of repression of media critical of the government.
