U.S. stocks join global selloff

U.S. stocks added to a worldwide stock selloff today on fears of a global recession, but the major indexes bounced off their lows in the first minutes of trading. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 350 points, or 4 percent, after being down as much as 504 points in the early going, CNNMoney reports.
