Bill to keep foreign troops in Iraq stalls
niedziela, grudzień 21st, 2008After heated argument, the Iraqi parliament turns down the first draft of a bill that would have allowed all foreign troops to remain in Iraq after the U.N. mandate expires on December 31. The bill doesn’t affect U.S. troops, but forces from other nations, including Britain, would not be authorized to remain in Iraq after the end of the year.
