U.N. asked to condemn Israeli assault on Gaza

A Palestinian envoy called on the United Nations to condemn the assault on Gaza as Israeli airstrikes on Hamas militants entered a second day. At least 225 people have been killed. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel is responding to escalating rocket attacks from Gaza. Hamas has vowed to retaliate.div class=”feedflare”
