List on gun permits is out of date
wtorek, luty 24th, 2009The list of gun owners who have yet to renew their weapons permits published by the Ministry of the Interior and Police contains a series of errors, since many of the names on the list are of bearers of official licenses ad-vitam, valid for the holder’s lifetime and are not subject to taxes. This is the case of Chamber of Deputies president Julio Cesar Valentin, Senator Amilcar Romero, deputies Rafael Calderon, Santiago Rodriguez and Lethi Vasquez, and former deputy Domingo Porfirio Rojas Nina. Also, public officials are backed by this official permit, established by Law 36 on owning and carrying a weapon, and its modifications, which highlights the fact that the list on the website has not been updated.
