Dining table in Manitoba linked to Plains of Abraham battle
wtorek, luty 24th, 2009A dining table in the officers’ VIP dining room at CFB Shilo has a story steeped in 250 years’ worth of history. Legend has it that table comes from the Plains of Abraham, and is where General James Wolfe’sbody was laid after he was killed in the famous 1759 battle between British and French troops outside the walls of Quebec City.
