Family awaits word after deadly rebellion
piątek, luty 27th, 2009Riaz Hussain rushes to the phone as his family huddles nearby, straining to hear. “Nah,” he tells his family. Fifty-one sleepless hours have passed since Hussain’s family heard from his cousin. Army Lt. Col. Robiur Rahman was at the Bangladesh Rifles headquarters when paramilitary troops rebelled, killing at least 62 officers. Rahman and more than 100 others have not been found. “A knock on the door, and we hold our breath. Still, nothing,” Hussain says.div class=”feedflare”
