Improved weather service
czwartek, sierpień 12th, 2010Meteorological Office (Onamet) director Gloria Ceballos said that there are now 70 weather stations nationwide, 18 that are automated, including those at the nation’s airports in Punta Cana, La Romana, Las Americas (Santo Domingo), Santiago and Santo Domingo. They provide information of interest to the aviation, farming and tourism sectors, among others.
