Continental flight veers off Denver runway
A Continental Airlines jet skidded off the runway Saturday at Denver International Airport in Colorado and landed in a nearby ravine. Dozens of passengers were forced to evacuate as the plane burned. Kim Day, the airport’s aviation manager, said at least 38 people were taken to the hospital, but no fatalities were reported.
